Promote Your Business With Your Own Email
Course
by Kevin Nunley
The Internet is and
always will be about learning. People log on
and surf the Web to get information. If you want to sell
something, you have to offer free information right along with
it.
Notice how many top sites on the Net not only give you
things to
buy, but entice you with pages of good how-to info. Others list
their products and services along with reviews, customer
comments, surveys, and other ways for you to get an in-depth feel
for the product or service being offered.
Amazon.com pioneered this strategy and still uses it to
near
perfection (just look up your favorite book and watch all the
related helpful info they put up with it). Visit a top computer
site like Apple.com and you'll see stacks of FAQs and plenty of
discussion groups related to their product.
Probably the best way to offer valued information is to
have your
own email course. Your course can be three to seven or more
"lessons" (usually a short report on a continuing topic) that is
emailed to those who ask for it.
Each lesson can address a common question your customers
ask.
Most people who contact me want to know about how to advertise,
how to get free PR from big media, how to make their web site
sell better, and how to advertise in ezines. Look at my free
email courses

Don't be afraid to offer other people's courses from your
site.
Even though they wrote it, visitors will give you lots of credit
for bringing them good information.
